Following are a few places you really need to go.
The Museum of South African Hip Hop, Cape Town
Really, do you know of another hip hop museum?
Musee Mecanique, San Francisco
As a translation is clearly needed, this museum has "one of the world’s largest privately owned collections of mechanically operated antique arcade games and musical instrument". And yes, you can play some of them! Bring quarters.
Tao Heung Museum of Food Culture, Hong Kong
Get to know global food in a slightly different way. (But do they feed you? We hope so.)
The Bunny Museum, Los Angeles
We're not so sure about this one. A private home full of bunnies? In Pasadena? Hey, why not. Relax. You're in Southern California.
The Meguro Parasitological Museum, Tokyo
Ugh, parasites and tape-worms? This is getting worse by the second. Definitely skip this one.
Sulabh International Museum of Toilets, Dehli
Yes! We love toilet humour. Although this one is run by a woman who "runs a well-respected non-profit organisation which campaigns for the expansion of sanitation to India’s poorest villages." Go.
The Propaganda Museum, Shanghai
Just be warned: you'll probably want at least one of these posters for your living room.
Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art, New York
How could this not be cool? Don't forget to wear your Converse. Somehow it just seems right.
The Mob Museum, Las Vegas
Not open until this December. And please, let us call it by its official name: The Las Vegas Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement. Thanks.
Credit where credit is due: this list was complied by Virgin Atlantic, which would really like to fly you to one of these destinations. Silly commentary is by us.
