Reuters reports that Credit Suisse CEO Brady Dougan took a 34% pay cut in 2010, after the bank's profit declined.

Dougan's total compensation for the year fell from $21m in 2009 to around $14m.

The 16-person Credit Suisse board received a total of $176.2m, up from the $163.6m given to 13 board members for 2009.

Credit Suisse total 2010 bonus pool came in at around $5.5bn, down 27%. The firm has not specifically identified how much investment banking head Eric Varvel made in 2010.

Finally, The Wall Street Journal reports that Jamie Dimon apparently received a 'Japanese pop idol's' welcome when he arrived in Tokyo to visit the troops.

The newspaper quotes one JPMorgan staffer, who said: 'As part of the staff in Japan, I was really encouraged by his visit. While many foreign staff at brokerages are leaving Japan, I think it will be a huge sign of commitment for our clients too'.
