Barclays Wealth has announced the appointment of Tony Marsh as a Wealth Advisor, based in London. In this capacity, he will oversee and offer wealth planning advice to high net worth clients and will have responsibility for growing Wealth Advisory's portfolio of clients.
Marsh's arrival follows a series of recent Wealth Advisor appointments - he is the eleventh addition to the team across the UK since November last year. Michael Martin, who joined from RBS Independent Financial Services and Georgina Gilham, who worked at Lloyds TSB Private Banking, are based in London along with Philip Aleppo, Geoff Bussey, Timothy Barton-Costa and Joseph Clark.
Paul Fisher has joined the team in Bristol from Coutts & Co having previously worked at Natwest, whilst Iain Longworth joined from RBS Independent Financial Services and is based in Manchester. From Hargreaves Landsdown, Dean Moore has joined the Bournemouth team. Alasdair Livingstone joins from Towry Financial Services and is based in the Leeds office.
Marsh brings almost ten years of financial planning experience and joins Barclays Wealth from Full Circle Asset Management, a privately-owned, independent wealth management firm where he was Associate Director responsible for financial planning and business development. Prior to this, he had a successful career as a trader, spanning 17 years at two Japanese investment banks.
