Ryder Cup 'Cigar Man' Turns Out To Be City Analyst

Well, well, well. Would you Adam 'n' Eve it ?

The Ryder Cup 'Cigar Guy' - the bloke who was seen with a huge cigar in his gob and wearing a fake Groucho Marx tash in the background in a Mail-on-Sunday picture of Tiger Woods fluffing a chip shot at last week's event - turns out to be a City analyst (see video to the right).

30-year-old Rupesh Shingadia is an analyst with London-based asset manager Threadneedle Asset Management. He apparently donned the garb in homage to Miguel Angel Jimenez, himself famous for his cigar-chomping.

The picture has obtained iconic status on the internet, with Shingadia's head being photoshopped into a variety of pictures highlighting some of the best moments in world sport.

Well done Rupesh for bringing a smile to our faces.
