There's a serious business lesson to be learned here about how to play your boss.
An analyst, an associate and an investment banker were on their way to an important meeting. As they approached the client's building, they came across a magic lamp.
They rub the lamp and a genie appears. The genie says, 'Normally, the one who summons the genie is granted three wishes. But, as you are three, I will allow you one wish each'.
The analyst jumps in, pipes up and wishes to be in the Bahamas, on a fast boat, with a pretty girl on each arm. Flash! Just like that, he is gone.
Hardly able to contain himself, the associate eagerly wishes that he was in Florida, enjoying the sun, the rich food and fabulous cocktails. Flash! And he is gone too.
The genie then turns to the investment banker and finally asks him to make his own wish. The banker smiles and calmly says, 'I just want those two idiots back at their desks in the office straight after lunch'.
The moral of this story is always let the boss speak first.
