Deutsche On The Rise In Asia

Bloomberg reports that Deutsche Bank has now moved up into fourth place in the Asia-Pacific (ex-Japan) advisory league table after winning five mandates in Malaysia. The bank leap-frogged over UBS Warburg, Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley and others in the table, which is based on deals which took place in the first nine months of the year.

Goldman Sachs - $17.0bn

JP Morgan - $13.6bn

Deutsche Bank - $11.4bn

UBS Warburg - $10.2bn

Morgan Stanley - $9.8bn

Macquarie Bank - $8.5bn

ABN Amro - $8.1bn

Merrill Lynch - $7.3bn

Rothchild - $7.1bn
