Leeds United fans were incandescent with rage after their 4-1 defeat at Watford yesterday.
It has been a rollercoaster start to the season for Leeds United and after the brief respite that came from the signature and subsequent match winning performance from Billy Sharp last weekend it has now gone belly-up once again.
Yesterday they were a shambles as they were thrashed by Watford 4-1 at Vicarage Road.
To add insult to injury they finished the game with nine men. One of the club's newbies Giuseppe Bellusci, who only made his loan deal at the club permanent the day before, messed up a clearance and then hauled down Fernando Forestieri in the area to receive a straight red.
Then Sam Byram, who could have joined Southampton this summer, reacted angrily to a Daniel Toszer challenge and headbutted the Hungarian - seeing an immediate red.
The latest result followed on from a defeat against Brighton in the week and now it is looking like the wheels have come off at Elland Road, if they hadn't already.
The naive nature of their performance and result has seen much of the blame land on the shoulders of boss Dave Hockaday. He proved he was not cut out for this level of management yesterday, and it is almost unfair that somebody who's previous experience was a mediocre spell in non-league football has been appointed in charge of one of the country's biggest and most recognisable club.
That blame lands at the door of Massimo Cellino, and given his track record with sacking managers, Hockaday looks like being on his way very soon. Plenty of fans would be glad to see the back of him already, as was evident on Twitter last night as Leeds fans voiced their displeasure at the ever falling standards of the club both on and off the pitch.
Here are some of the best Tweets from fans, as Cellino has a job on his hand getting this ship back in order...
