According to a report from ESPN, Tottenham Hotspur quartet Federico Fazio, Nabil Bentaleb, Alex Pritchard and Clinton N'Jie have been told to leave the club.

Spurs headed off to Australia for a pre-season tour on Friday evening, and whilst England internationals Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Eric Dier have been omitted to give them time to rest after Euro 2016, four more players have been left behind for a very different reason.

Defender Federico Fazio, midfielder Nabil Bentaleb, playmaker Alex Pritchard and forward Clinton N'Jie have all been left behind in London - and ESPN report that all four have been told to find new clubs.

Defender Fazio joined Spurs from Sevilla back in the summer of 2014, and whilst he played 25 games in his first season at White Hart Lane, he was frozen out last term, spending the second half of the season back on loan with former club Sevilla.

Midfielder Bentaleb, 21, only signed a new contract at White Hart Lane last summer, but played in just five Premier League games last season as he fell down Pochettino's pecking order.

The Algerian is still highly rated by many fans though, and his potential departure may be seen as a mistake by many, who think Bentaleb should be given a chance to rekindle his form from the 2014/15 season.

Meanwhile, playmaker Pritchard also looks set to leave after a torrid loan spell at West Brom. The former Brentford loanee has come up through the ranks at White Hart Lane but spent the first half of last season out injured, whilst he barely featured when he signed for West Brom in January.

Finally, forward N'Jie was snapped up from Lyon last summer but failed to start a Premier League game last season, and spent almost five months of the campaign out through injury.

The report claims that Fazio, Bentaleb and N'Jie have all held talks with clubs in Europe having been told to find new clubs during Tottenham's time in Australia, whilst Pritchard wants to stay in the Premier League - meaning he could well face Spurs next season as Pochettino looks to trim his squad.

Do you think Tottenham should sell Fazio, Bentaleb, Pritchard and N'Jie?
